I have always believed that if the world doesn’t have what we want then we should create it. I started my journey of entrepreneurship after graduating from university by opening a web design company in New York City in the late 90s.  We didn’t know what we were doing yet we did a lot simply by “bootstrapping” our way to the present moment.

Since my first venture, I have worked with startups, enterprises and businesses across multiple sectors in public relations, advertising and product leadership: building applications for finance, e-commerce, tech, real estate for companies such as Intel, MasterCard, Charles Schwab, Recycled Paperboard Alliance, Nest Seekers International, Mori Building Company, National Instruments, Equinix, Dell and so many more passion projects and non-profit organizations.

My training as a biologist and climate studies in atmosphere / biosphere dynamics at the University of Colorado at Boulder gave me a discipline and rigor in the scientific method that I take to everything that I build and do. I am also a musician who hears “the music of the spheres” everywhere.

All of this, while pursuing a deep wish to understand the essential Self through yoga.  I have owned and operated several yoga studios and continue to run yoga teacher trainings.  Yet the yoga studio business paradigm still needs to evolve to truly serve as a place of sustenance materially for those who love the practice, lifestyle and teachings.

Ideastore is a connector, a bridge from the essential gift of an idea into “reality.”  Ideastore is an experiment and a test for how to bring women into the broader playing field of commerce, executive leadership and business.  Ideastore is a re-definition of how we look at the world and consumption while growing, preserving and managing our world’s resources.  Ideastore starts with your big idea.  And together we build the world.
